Points, Planes, and Lines

This is the review for geommetry day 1 (8/24/09)

Points - do not have any real size. They can be created and found easily; the points have two key components:

  • Points are dots, nothing else
  • And the letters to orginze the dot's must be CAPITAL

Lines - extend indefinitely; lines just like points have no real size. Say there was three points making a line. Point A, point B, and point C. These points can define the line like ,line AB and line BC or line CA etc. Of course if there are no points on a line just a letter lowercased and suited like (n or a), any kind of letter looking like Italic letter.

Tip- Never name 3 points on a line like ABC or BCA, any kind of mix . Keep at two.

Planes- are flat surfaces that extend in all directions. Planes can be found in figures like a cube.

Defenitions: Indefinitely- never ending, forever.

  1. Just incase nobody knew
